I hope you all don't get tired of reading posts about snowstorms....because I think there are many in our future here in Denver. Each one is different and each provides its own memories. This one was a doozy! Literally a year to the week that we moved here, this storm reminded us of why we didn't have furniture for so long when we first arrived at our house. It just kept snowing and snowing and snowing. As the storm stalled over us, it proceeded to dump a solid 16-18" of snow. The unfortunate part is that Sven was on the night shift portion of his work week and he spent more time using the snowblower than sleeping. But, par for the course, he proceeded with snow removal with a smile! As long as I can hibernate during the storm and wait for the roads to clear a bit, I'm OK with it. This snow stuff is actually starting to grow on me.....maybe......

Upon shoveling the area around the gate so we could go from the front yard to the backyard, this was the mound of snow awaiting us. |

I don't think the rabbit hutch or AC will be receiving any use in the immediate future! |

It's inviting in its own bizarre way, isn't it?! |

And the race is on....who will make the biggest snowball?! |

Sven and Nikolas trying to plow a sledding trail.....because I'm the one who really wanted to sled down the hill in our front yard. HA! |
