I have been asked by Emalie's school to do yearbook photos for the kids who missed the earlier Lifetouch sessions. As you know, give me a reason to pick up a camera and I'm in. Now, this is a little out of my element: file 'em through, one after the other just like the one before, on-location lighting (in a probably horribly, yellow-lit room), uniformity. Ugh. Ok, but, I'm still in because at least I get to play with my camera and get my name out there amongst some of the elementary school parents and staff. In preparation for this, I grabbed Emalie for a mini-shoot with the equipment I will be taking to the school that day. And, no, she wouldn't change out of her much loved Paw Patrol PJ's. Some days you just have to go with the flow (ok, ALL days you pretty much have to go with the flow if you want to make it through to the end with your sanity in tact). I love this little film strip. It gives you a good idea of what I have to deal with when I ask Emalie to help me with pictures: stuffed animals, movement and grimaces. Take a look at Little Miss Personality in action..... silly girl!
