4-13, Coloring Easter Eggs

I guess we'll go by our calendar that it's time to color easter eggs rather than the weather!  75 degrees on Friday and 35 on Sunday.  Hmph.  Our lilac is trying to spread its little blossoms and bloom, but that darn snow is weighing it down!  Last year, we didn't color easter eggs because we spent Nikolas' spring vacation in Texas.  Therefore, Emalie had never colored eggs!  Her favorite question these days, as with many 2-year olds, is "Why?!".  So, you can imagine how many times she asked that question yesterday during this activity.  It was nice to do a family activity like this and watch the kids share in this moment.  Both wanted to do everything (and thankfully there's no audio with the pics our you'd hear the bickering....) but there were still plenty of smiles and giggles.  So, if you don't partake in this activity anymore (or yet, whichever the case may be), then enjoy it with us as you look through our photos from yesterday.

Cutest. Pony Tail.  Ever.

"Point to your favorite!"
Why use the stickers......

.....on the eggs when.....

......they look so cute on little faces!

4-10, Sunny Baseball Day

"Anything you can do, I can do better...." or "Watch me!" were the alternate titles for this post.  The weather was beautiful this past week (now we have 4" of snow on the ground, but that's beside the point).  Emalie spent her days playing baseball in the backyard.  Nikolas spent a lot of time fishing at the lake.  I did catch them playing baseball together one afternoon.  Simply put-- adorable.
