So in September when Nikolas asked my dad over the phone, "Grandpa, when you're here will you build me a playhouse?", I had no idea the extent of that little question! Well, after 10 days and just as many trips to Lowe's, I NOW know! The project was not so much a little playhouse as it was a major construction site! I learned how to do things I probably wouldn't have otherwise (who knew I could use a saw and NOT cut any fingers off??). I really enjoyed the time spent with my dad building it.....I hope he feels the same. =) Nikolas now has jealous eyes cast upon him from all the other neighborhood kids. It's great to see them play creatively outside and AWAY from anything electronic. And the thought that is on everyone's minds now.....'how in the heck are we going to move that thing?'!?! I guess we'll find out in a year or two!
