9-4, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

It seems that wherever we go, I have one eye seeing it as it is (which is unfortunately my bad eye, HA!) and the other eye seeing it through the eye of my lens.  This day we were headed to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.  I brought my camera 'just in case' but was determined to be in the moment and simply enjoy this first trip to this zoo.  And, what a zoo it is!!  I think maybe this is our favorite zoo of all the ones we've visited across the country.  It's built onto the side of a mountain (thus the name).  It's hard to choose which was better:  the views from the exhibits or the exhibits themselves.  I did very well with my intent of 'looking more' and 'shooting less'.  I came across only two subjects that I couldn't resist.  But who could blame me.....LOOK AT THEM!  So very cute!
