Can you believe our spunky and sweet little girl is SEVEN?! Holy smokes! And, man, is she excited about it! She had a fantastic birthday. The only field trip of the year for her class was on her birthday. How special is that? A field trip, family time and her favorite food-- she was a happy girl as she closed her eyes at bedtime. We are so thankful to have this precious girl in our lives. Oh, how we love her so!!

Rise and shine, birthday girl! |
"Presents! Can I open my PRESENTS?!" |
Me and my baby girl.... who's not so baby anymore. |
De ja vu.... same restaurant, same table, same seats as last year on her birthday! |
She's just a "little" excited and she hasn't dug into the complimentary birthday dessert yet. |
She always wants to see the stars. I think it's because she has her sights set on them! |
Always a daddy's girl. |
She's been asking for years for a Broncos helmet. Isn't she funny?! |
Can you believe how big they both are?! |
Money, money, money! You all know the way to this girl's heart. Thank you so much for your gifts to her! |
Pure joy wrapped in silly. |

We've known for years that Emalie has a fondness for music and musical instruments. She now has a real keyboard to enhance this inclination. |
No judgment, right? I didn't have time to make Grandma O's chocolate cake this year. Thankfully, she seemed happy enough with a box cake. As long as it's chocolate, she's cool with that. lol.... |
Thanks again, everyone, for helping to make Emalie's day special!
