This post should get an award (or not....) for the most number of blurry photos. We hit downtown Parker again Saturday evening to soak up more of the festive, holiday air. We were pleased to take a carriage (vs. wagon) ride. We also went to Swirls for some yummy FroYo and a photo opp with Santa. We knew there was no way we were plopping Emalie down on a stranger's lap (Santa or no Santa), so we ended up taking a family photo with Santa instead. (Photo yet to be seen-- stay tuned....maybe.) It was a nice family outing. It still doesn't feel like it could possibly only be a few weeks to Christmas though-- is it the 60 degree weather? Lack of snow? I've already made at least 5 different types of cookies, mailed out the Christmas cards, watched the classic Christmas movies, listened to our favorite holiday albums..... nope, still doesn't feel like Christmas.....yet. This weekend we'll be getting our tree-- maybe then it will feel like the holidays!
Emalie loves her new Santa hat....it might be the only winter hat we can get her to wear! |
