6-30, Another Camping Weekend

This last month has been a blur-- literally.  We went camping for my birthday (actually the weekend after this year since my birthday was during the week) as is tradition.  This particular trip was a real doozey  (I have no idea if that's how doozey is even spelled, but we'll go with it....).  It was all fun and games until I got hit in the head by a falling cottonwood branch during a windstorm at the park in Buena Vista.  I didn't think too much of it (other than obscenities because darn it hurt!) and we carried on with our weekend.  It was the following day on the way back home that I had a strange episode.  I had a vague thought that maybe the two events were related, but not so sure since it had really been a full 24 hours since I'd been hit.  Another week passed, while I waited for my doctor to return from vacation.  You can imagine my surprise when she diagnosed me with a concussion.  It's been 3 weeks and I'm just now starting to get back in the swing of things....very....very.... slowly.   I've had to step back from most of my normal activities and just rest.  It's not too hard to figure out when I've overdone it because as my doctor said, "listen to your body."  My body hasn't been too happy lately, but maybe with a little more rest I'll get there (which is so, so hard!!).  Anyway, here are some pictures...albeit few.... from that weekend.  Now, onto Montana and Nik's 3-week summer camp near Bozeman.  Schedules never slow down (whether you need them to or not!).
