It's hard to believe that Nikolas' baseball season is almost over already! His final game is on Saturday. This year's season has seemed short. We're sad that it's almost over, too, because the coach he's had the past 2 years won't be coaching again next year. Nikolas will be moving up from the coach pitch team to the kid pitch. Hopefully next year's coach will be half as wonderful as Coach Chris. We think Nikolas has real baseball talent. You can hear the coach of the opposing team say, "Ok, pay attention! Hard hitter here!!" as he goes up to bat. Then, as he's hitting it out into the outfield you hear the parents of the opposing team yelling, "Good hit #4!!! Good hit!". What a fun age to watch him improve his skills and enjoy the game. He'll be attending a 5-day baseball camp at the local high school the week after school gets out. I hope he enjoys it!
By the way, we DO have videos of his hits. However, they're on the new FlipVideo we bought. We haven't figured out how to download and convert the files into formats that are user-friendly for the computer. Once (if) we do, I'll post them!
