Whew!!!! After a 2-hour grueling exam, Nik did it! He earned his black belt!! Sempai Nik Krauss! I don't think I've ever been more proud of him as I was watching him working his tail off during that test. I know it's been almost 5 years of sweat working up to this point, but the exam was a tangible display of his desire. It was awesome! We're so grateful that the karate gods guided us to 5280 Martial Arts all those years ago. It's been a second home for Nik and a source of wisdom and guidance for everyone in our family. We couldn't think more highly of everyone there and this achievement with which they helped Nik reach. Isn't Emalie lucky that she has a black-belt big brother to show her the ropes?! Congrats, Nik, we are SO PROUD of you!!!
