Oh my....I think we may have survived our first "heat wave." What a scorcher it was. Temps were in the 90s with the heat index putting it closer to 110. It was like we went to sleep in Maryland and woke up in Pensacola. (You know how we feel about Pensacola's weather!) UGH!! Yesterday was the prime time to check out our neighborhood pool-- a short walking distance from our house. It is PERFECT for small kids. It has a sloping entry and the max depth is 3'6". With its shallowness and the hot weather, the water felt wonderful. Sven was feeling a little under the weather (and I'm not talking about the muggy, hot, sticky kind...), but he still managed to join us and get some studying done, too.
