So, continuing from the day that Nikolas was my model, here is the rest of the afternoon. I dismissed Nikolas from his duties and scooped up Em from her nap and began hers. However, it was a 'half effort' on both our parts. She was obsessed with having 'bubble gum' and 'blowing bubbles like Nik'.....which in reality meant blowing spit bubbles with slobber running down her chin. (Yeah, that makes for a great photo.) I was in no mood to push it because I felt I got my shots of the day with Nikolas. So, I took a few and moved on. The highlight of the afternoon was getting to play in her very first wading pool (thank you, Aunt Kim!). She LOVED it. She played until she was shriveled and cold. I took a lot more than this, but it's pretty hard to figure out which ones are 'internet acceptable'. Hopefully these all pass ....and she doesn't hate me too much one day for these!
