I think it was about this time last year when I posted about our excitement for our new garden. Yeah, that excitement didn't last long. We got a couple (literally, I think it was two....) cherry tomatoes, some squash and peppers. That's a lot of water and attention for very little production! This year, I was thankful that 'the boys' went along with my idea to turn the garden into a play area. A few days and a few tons of pea gravel and our project was complete. I'm happy about having something nicer than a failing garden to look at from the back deck and having the kids' play area closer to the house. All in all, it was a nice family project and we're quite happy with the results.
