10-4, Orioles game (again...)

Mom and dad have arrived! We've been anticipating their month-long stay with us. As an early gift for dad for his birthday, we bought Orioles tickets for the last game of the season. He doesn't get to many games, so he was thrilled!

The O's took on the Toronto Blue Jays. It was a close game the whole way through (as you can see from Nikolas' suspended cheese curl....). It was a beautiful day-- blue skies and 70 degrees.

That is....70 degrees in the sun. We soon realized that it was at least 10-15 degrees cooler in the shade with the wind. So.... the boys had to go outfit themselves in some Orioles paraphernalia. =)

The game went into 2 extra innings!! It was fantastic. The O's pulled through in the 11th inning and beat the Jays 5-4. What a way to end the season....a win and with grandma and grandpa there to watch the game with us! Woo Hoo!!
