We took a family trip to the zoo in DC. It was the 2nd time for Nikolas and me (the first being a kindergarten field trip) and the 1st for Sven. It's a wonderful zoo. It's a great way to spend the day-- even better since entry is free! If you've seen one zoo photo, you've seen them all but it still doesn't stop the allure of photographing the animals!

I totally relate! I am a scrapbooker...I can't tell you how many zoo pages I have done (they are fun and easy). I always include lots of pictures of the animals. What can I say? I love a good "wild" animal photo :)
